Today I want to get my interview recorded and uploaded to my blog. I also want to complete the other work that has been set for the lesson.

Video Interview Target Audience

                    By doing the target audience video it has allowed me to understand what my audience likes and dislikes, which gives me a good idea of what to add and what to not add, for example the colors for my magazine has been chafed due to the feedback that I recieved.

These are my inspirations of what I want my main image to be. I like how close you can get to actual cake an get focused on the fruit. 

Inspirational texts (recipes)

These are the three inspirations texts that i will bemusing for my magazine recipe page. They are formal in the texts and use a lot of imperatives when writing. I will include this is my recipe so that people will have a clear idea of what to do.

Inspirational texts (website)

These websites are what I want to base my website around, the navigation on the website in the top image is very easy to use and simple which is what I want to base my magazine on. The others do not give as much detail in as the original one. The design is also what I want to base mine on as it is laid out with the images in a clear place to see, it also has a lot of content in which is unlike the others, I like the amount of content in them as the others look too minimal. I will follow the overall layout of the top image but I will change the adverts on the side as I want to add images on the side.

Inspirational texts (billboard)

When researching into billboards I soon found out that there was not a lot of billboards advertising baking goods. These are the ones I found from around the world. I want to use the top image as an example as I like the image on the left and then text. I think this will be effective instead of putting a lot of information in like the second one down.

Inspirational texts (magazine)

I like these magazines as they have a good text running throughout and have a good front size. I will use this when I make my magazine. I like the masthead in this and I will sue the same type of text in my magazine. My color scheme will be very simple but with colors that compliment my overall ooh of the magazine.

I have completed my flat plans and further researched into my target audience.

Flat plans and rationales

These are my flat plans that I will be using to create my magazine off.The reason I have chosen to set out the front cover the way I have is because when I have done my research I  liked the way that it was set out and the feedback that I got was good so I wanted to base my form cover on that. The main image will be of either a cake or a tray bake, this is so that it can be clearly seen and recognised with ease.

 The reason that I set out my contents page the way I have was because I liked the way the images and text complement each otter in their layout. Also the features are set out by themselves which allows the reader to find what they are looking for with ease. The images will be of aspects that are relivant  to the magazine and what my reader like and have interests in.

The advert is very basic and I want to keep it like that so that you can clearly see the product. the product will be easy to see and eye-catching so that people will immediately see what the product is and will want to hopefully buy it.
















My main article is set out in a very simple yet effective way so that you can clearly see the recipe and the image. The reason that I have set it out like this is so that it is not all squashed together and is placed out correctly. Also the recipe is placed in relevance to the image.

Examples

These are the photos I will be using in my interview as this is what my magazine will be based around this. The reason I have chosen to use the two examples of the form cover is because they are from the same magazine but are very different in color, layout and overall look, I wanted to see which one people preferred and which on I should focus on for my magazine. The reason I chose the website is because it is a popular website for baking but is also really the only one that is available online so I wanted to get an idea of what my audience thought of it.

I have created these questions as a base to go off when asking the questions in my interview. The reason I have asked these specific questions is so that I can get specific responses to make my magazine to the point.

Target audience face

This is my target audience face where I put my ideas for my primary and secondary target audience. The reason we did this is so that myself and the rest of my class have a better understanding of just who our audience is and so that we are catering for the right people instead of focusing our attention on the wrong area. I found out that my primary target audience is women who are retired and might be grandparents. My secondary target audience is anyone who has an interest in baking, from young to elderly people.

Feedback on pitch

In todays lesson we had to present out pitches to the class. This was done so that we could get feedback off our class and teacher. This was done so that we can improve our idea or add additional aspects to our pitch. The feedback that I got was really beneficial for me as I had more ideas for my actual magazine and had a clear idea of what I can add with the feedback from my class.
